Walking into the grandiose Lounge area, you can sense authenticity and luxury, blended into art. Its unconventional design resembles the entrance to a Sculpture Garden.  The hotel’s bungalows and villas with private pools, stretched across a 2.5km coastline, offer a glimpse into the architectural style of Eastern Crete’s fishing villages, while blending naturally into their surroundings.  Their chic, low-rise construction create a sense of privacy, serenity and close connection to Mother Earth. Walking across the hotel’s gardens, you can smell the fragrance of nature, while the meditating sound of the sea provides peace and tranquility.

Minos Beach art hotel was the first luxury resort to open in Crete in the 1960s; since then, it has been staying fresh and relevant to the needs of its guests. Along with its Sculpture Garden, with a gallery of over 40 pieces of art, the hotel is a cultural beacon for both the local community and its globetrotter guests. Committed to our local hiring philosophy, the hotel extends a warm welcome through Cretans, proud to share their culture through their philoxenia.  This local vibe is being passed on to all our services. Our menus are inspired by traditional Cretan flavours and locally sourced ingredients, creating an authentic farm-to-table experience in fine dining. Bespoke service is the key to building long term relationships with our guests.
